Lunch with Mum.
My mum has a lot of problems that I can't help her with. She cooked me lunch today, and whilst I was happy to see her, I couldn't help but feel sad.
I hadn't seen mum in three months, and I can safely say that she enjoyed cooking this for me as much as I enjoyed eating it.
It's surprising how much just sitting down to a meal with somebody can help.

shoes
I know I know, it's pretty bent taking pics of your shoes, no excuse really, but at least now I can see what I've accumulated. Go check shoe crates on crooked tongues for people who've gone a lot more shoe crazy.

Weston (not so) Super-Mare
Too many swanky Japan shots from Jeff on here, so let's redress the balance.
England has some very sad looking seaside towns. This is Weston Super-Mare in Somerset, near where I was born.
Nice of them to bring out the Russian and Lithuanian flags for us:
Plenty of birds at the beach, it's nonstop fun...
Plenty of bargains in the shops...
...but watch out for ninjas.
Best of British entertainment:
errr.... meet the local honeys
Capitalism once again enriches our daily lives:
After all that excitement, it's time for a nice spot of tea, with traditional fat and sugar on a fat/sugar bun, twice. This explains the average arse size of english girls.

TYO part2
My friend Tucker (super genius electone master) and his friend Yasu took me to this interesting coffee shop (kissaten) where 2 old ladies had decked it out in proper old ladies wall paper, dried flowers and 80's cocktail computer gaming tables! Weird. I also think they poisoned me but I won't go into that.
Great view, fabulous flowers and a Japanese horror stories record. A great blend.
Tokyo Dome Attractions.
Went to a super nice tofu restaurant with my super hot friend Saya.
Final morning sunrise, felt like death, in the night I'd had a serious long conversation with my hotel room toilet.
Longest ever flight home, sitting quietly not eating anything and looking at this map every half an hour wishing there was a turbo boost button to make it go quicker. Finally my house came into view.
A big shout out to everyone who made my stay in Tokyo a mental one: Akiko, Phil, Josh, Yuko, Tucker, Kyoko, Yasu, Saya, Hiroki, Ro & all at KIKS, Tomomi, Masako, Makoto, Kazu, Hikari, Hikaru, Endou, Takayuki, Masaru, Boo, Eri, Fank & Ivy!

TYO part1
After Bangkok I went on to Tokyo.
Early flight out of BKK...
Loved this sign:
Hotel view in failed 3-D test, but still looks cool.
It was only a matter of time before the shades cames out.
Genius at work:
Afra and man with twangy thing battle it out.
A few drinks later...
A few more later . . .
Obviously when enough alcohol had been consumed random pictures of bush's began. Unfortunately just of the leafy green variety.
More TYO pics soon!

BKK part2
My hotel room the morning after the after-party. I really can't remember what happened but they needed to get the builders in to re-plaster the place...whoops.
Best thing was to hit Maccy Dees and order a triple BigMac customised with Sofa's chip filling.
Love bites.
Went to the movies to see new Thai movie 'Chocolate' (see lookrare). Got ourselves 3 giant bears of Coke and strawberry popcorn(out of shot)
